Abyssinian

One of the oldest known cat breeds, the Abyssinian has a ticked, agouti coat that gives it a wild, cougar-like appearance. Slender and athletic, “Abys” are famous for being endlessly curious, active, and playful well into adulthood. They form close bonds with their people and love to climb, explore high perches, and “help” with whatever you're doing. Abyssinians are intelligent and trainable, often learning to fetch or open doors. They do best with an interactive owner who can keep up with their energy and give them plenty of vertical space to explore.
