American Bobtail

The American Bobtail is best known for its naturally short, expressive tail, which is roughly a third to half the length of a typical cat's tail. Muscular and wild-looking, with a broad head and slightly hooded eyes, they carry themselves with a confident, almost bobcat-like presence. Despite the rugged looks, Bobtails are famously people-oriented, playful, and often described as dog-like in their loyalty and willingness to be leash-trained. They're intelligent, good problem-solvers, and enjoy interactive games well into adulthood. The breed tends to be gentle and patient, making it a popular choice for families with children.
