Burmese

The Burmese is a compact, surprisingly heavy “brick wrapped in silk” — a muscular little cat with a satin-like, short coat that comes in several rich solid colors. Known for being extremely people-oriented, Burmese cats often follow their owners everywhere and dislike being left alone for long periods. They're playful well into adulthood, enjoy interactive toys, and are known to retrieve small objects like a dog would. Their large, expressive golden eyes and rounded face give them an endearing, almost childlike expression. Burmese cats are generally healthy, low-maintenance in grooming, and thrive in households where they get plenty of attention.
