Siberian

The Siberian is a large, powerfully built cat with a thick, water-resistant triple coat developed to survive harsh Russian winters. Despite their size, they're agile and excellent jumpers, often described as dog-like for their loyalty, playfulness, and willingness to greet visitors at the door. Siberians are affectionate and social, enjoying the company of their family without being overly demanding. Many Siberian cats produce less of the Fel d 1 protein commonly associated with allergies, which is why the breed is often sought out by people with mild cat allergies (though individual reactions vary). Their dense coat sheds seasonally and needs regular brushing during shedding periods.
